- I'm in my mid 40's entering middle age. I began studying National Karate in August of 2007, based on the Joon Rhee system of Tae Kwon Do. I was laid low by torn ACL's in December of 2007, November of 2008, and a re-tear in December of 2009. Congrats, that's really awesome! Looking forward to hearing that report on the first injury-free sparring class, I'll bet you'll love it.
